Alleria Fantasy Character Design

This illustration of Alleria was created as a character illustration commission for author J. E. Schmidt and her fantasy novel Echoes of Ashes. Alleria is a seventeen-year-old elf living in a world where elves are believed to be extinct. Adopted and unaware of her true heritage, she sets out from her quiet village in search of answers about her past.

During her journey, Alleria discovers emerging powers, long-buried secrets, and a destiny tied to the lost elvish capital. Along the way she forms a reluctant but determined trio with Laderic, a treasure-seeking human fortune hunter, and Midiga, a member of the catlike Felidae race seeking to escape the bitterness of her own past.

This artwork was commissioned as a promotional print for convention appearances, bringing Alleria’s courage, mystery, and inner strength to life for readers and fans of the series.
